Well it all started when his mother didn't want him at birth, she sorted him away from the rest, I guess she knew he wouldn't make it far, but we didn't give up. We put him back and he grew healthy and strong..for the most part. He was born with a terrible set of teeth, and well he was doing fine. Until in the summer a fly laid her eggs on him and he had maggots living on him. We only noticed three days after, and the vet already thought he wouldn't make it. He did though everything grew back, his skin his fur, but I guess teh pressure was just too strong for him to handle. He stopped eating and we tried to feed him encourage him to eat, but he didn't.
He died in my arms late at night. Now he is buried in our back yard, and the worst part is we thought he had made it. He looked so happy we thought we could take him with us when we moved. Since his family rejected him we wanted to adopt him a new family, a pretty female bunny and two friendly guinea pigs, and get him his very own out side house.
I miss him D: Sometimes I have the feeling he is still alive.
We plan on growing a pretty patch of flowers over his grave :3

"Every so often, perhaps once every fifteen or twenty years, there comes to racing a horse so perfectly conformed, so talented and so tragic that it breaks the hearts of even the most hardened horsemen. Such a horse was the filly Ruffian."
